Emmy Nominations are out!

We’ve been misspelling Jay Z’s name for the last 2 years. Jay Z has dropped the hyphen from his name two years ago with the release of Watch the Throne, but no one paid attention. Jay Z’s label has confirmed the name change, and Billboard is abiding by his wishes, listing Jay Z, and not Jay-Z, as the solo artist with the most No. 1 records. Jay’s new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, credits Jay Z, and not Jay-Z, on iTunes. If you want you can call him Hov, Hova, Jigga, Jigga Man, Jay or Mr. Carter.

George Clooney tried to win over Eva Longoria while he was dating Stacy Keibler. The two have been friends for years, and were spotted at Soho House in Berlin while they were both working in Germany in March, but they didn’t hook up. Sources close to Clooney told Us Weekly “he was still with Stacy, but he had plans to break up with her and was interested in being with Eva. Eva made it clear she would not date or be with him until he was completely single.” Since then, Longoria found love with Ernesto Arguello and is very happy with him.

Britney Spears is headed to Vegas and told Shape magazine she’s doing yoga twice a week to gear up for a stint she describes as “a massive party from start to finish.” The Las Vegas Sun reports Planet Hollywood is giving its theatre a $20 million makeover, and they are cutting seats down from 7,400 to 4,500. The kick-off is scheduled for Jan. 2014, and Britney is planning to also make appearances at pool parties at the Planet Hollywood nightclub.

Here’s what’s breaking out at the movies this weekend. The “Girls Most Likely” and the drama “Only God Forgives.” There’s the action flick “Red 2” and “R.I.P.D.”

The 65th annual Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were announced yesterday and history was made. House of Cards became the 1st program delivered online being recognized in one of the top award categories. The show earned 9 nominations. American Horror Story: Asylum erned 17 with Game of Thrones with 16 nods. Both Saturday Night Live and HBO’s Behind the Candelabra earned 15.
