Word is going around that Justin Bieber is interested in buying Neverland Ranch, the former estate of the late Michael Jackson since it is up for sale. Bieber, is looking to remove himself from central LA and likes the peace and quiet of Neverland Ranch. The estate is about eight miles from Santa Ynez and approximately a 2.5 hour drive from LA. The estate includes swimming pools, a giant floral clock, multiple statues of children, two railroads and working trains, a petting zoo and amusement park. Jackson is Bieber’s idol and has also told his bosses that he wants to turn the late singer’s old home back to its former glory. No word exactly on how much he would purchase the estate for.
Former “That ‘70s Show” star Lisa Robin Kelly passed away in her sleep while at a rehab facility. She was 43. Her agent said she had voluntarily checked herself into a treatment facility early this week and was hopeful and confident to putting this part of her life behind her. Kelly had battled addiction for years and had been arrested several times. Sad news.
Justin Timberlake will once again grace the VMA stage and he will also receive the coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards air live on Sunday, August 25th at 9 pm from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Timberlake is just the latest performer confirmed to appear at the 2013 VMAs, joining Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus.
Singer Miguel is facing charges in LA after police say they stopped him while driving drunk early yesterday morning. According to TMZ, police say the singer blew a .10 and a .11 on a blood alcohol test. The legal limit is .08. The singer, full name Miguel Jontel Pimentel, spent a few hours in jail before he was released on $5,000 bail. His court date is scheduled for September.
Kanye West and Rob Kardashian were booed at a LA Dodgers game Wednesday night. The rapper took in a baseball game in LA August 14th, and according to Twitter, the reception from the crowd was not a warm one. ESPN writer Arash Markazi tweeted "Kanye West was just shown on the jumbotron at Dodger Stadium and got booed." Kanye was with Kim Kardashian's brother Rob. A short time later, Markazi noted Kanye’s seats had been upgraded and Tweeted again "Kanye West just got moved to second row seats near the Mets dugout. #KanyeWatch." Robin Thicke and Anthony Kiedis were at the game too and they both got a loud ovation."
Amanda Seyfried's new boyfriend is actor Justin Long. The pair was spotted at the Lovelace premiere and word is they were "inseparable." They have known each other a long time and recently started hanging out more. Good for them.
Chris Brown's hit-and-run case was dismissed. Brown and the victim struck a civil compromise -- she didn't want any money because the damage was so minor and she wanted the case dismissed. Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos said: "The case never should have been filed in the first place. It's unfortunate he was being prosecuted for who he is rather than what he's done."
