Former childhood movie star Shirley Temple Black passed away last night. She was 85. Shirley was best known for her numerous 1930s films, including "Bright Eyes" and "Curly Top," In 1934, she was awarded a special miniature Oscar for her outstanding contribution to the silver screen. Shirley had a drink named after her and children copied her curls. Her 2nd marriage, to San Francisco businessman Charles Black allowed her to enter the world of politics and she served as a U.S. ambassador to Ghana and Czechoslovakia. Drake and Rihanna were seen back together over the weekend at the LA nightclub Hooray Henry’s. TMZ sources say they were very close and touchy feely. Meanwhile, Rihanna achieved another Vevo milestone. Her video for “Pour It Up” has secured its 100 millionth view making this her 14th video to do so. The clip for her song with Shakira “Can’t Remember To Forget You” reached 100 million views as well.
NBC announced that Will Smith will appear on the February 17th debut of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. U2 will perform. Justin Timberlake will close out the week, which will also include appearances by first lady Michelle Obama, Will Ferrell, Bradley Cooper, Kristen Wiig and Jerry Seinfeld. Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire and Tim McGraw will perform during the week. The first four episodes of Fallon's new show will air at midnight following the Sochi Winter Olympics. Its regular time slot is 11:35 pm.
Seth Meyers tweeted out yesterday a photo of the new Late Night 8G Band, which includes Portlandia star Fred Armisen. Meyers said, "Fred will curate and lead the band, and continue to run it even when he's off shooting Portlandia."

Saturday Night Live alumni Chris Kattan was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription drugs after his Mercedes collided with a Department of Transportation vehicle on the 101 Freeway near Van Nuys, California, where a crew was busy working on guard rail repair. A TMZ video of the arrest shows him struggling to walk a straight line during a field sobriety test. Nobody was injured and Chris reportedly admitted to police that he was on prescription meds.
Julia Roberts' half-sister Nancy Motes has been found dead at a Los Angeles home. According to Los Angeles County Coroner, the 37-year-old Motes was discovered by paramedics on the bathroom floor of the house Sunday and pronounced dead. A source says "some prescription drugs were found near her body." An autopsy is scheduled for today.
Shayne Lamas miscarried after being rushed to the hospital, but is otherwise in good condition after a medical emergency. Lamas, who was expecting her second child with husband Nik Richie, apparently collapsed in her Orange County, California home and was taken to the hospital, where doctors said she was bleeding internally around her uterus. Following an operation, Lamas lost her child. She was 16 weeks into her pregnancy. The couple's daughter Press is 2.
Liam Hemsworth and model-actress Nina Dobrev hung out at a Atlanta bar on Friday, sparking rumors of a possible romance. They were with a group of people but looked close sitting together at the Corner Tavern bar. Hemsworth is currently in Atlanta filming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, while Dobrev lives there most of the year for The Vampire Diaries.
