Former “Entertainment Tonight” correspondent Samantha Harris revealed that later this month she will undergo surgery for a double mastectomy to treat breast cancer. She said on “Good Morning America” yesterday, she detected a lump during a self-examination but her results were negative last fall. She then went for a biopsy and received the news. Harris received the opinions from three different specialists and 2 treatment options: A double mastectomy or a less-radical second lumpectomy with radiation. Harris made the call to have the double mastectomy, "I felt so much calmer."
Oprah Winfrey celebrated turning 60 back in January, and in a behind-the-scenes video from the O, The Oprah Magazine May cover shoot, she revealed her regret with getting older. "I think the hardest part of aging really is recognizing the time that you wasted and the things that you worried about that really didn't matter. That's really the hardest part, that's really the only regret that I have."
Word is going around that Katie Holmes and Jason Segal are dating after having met on the set of “How I Met Your Mother” in 2011. Katie’s rep Leslie Sloane said “The story is completely untrue. The two have not spoken since she appeared on ‘How I Met Your Mother.’”

Maybe cuz I’m on Glee and making more money or something.” Sean didn’t respond to it, but his rep told Us Weekly it was his decision to end the engagement. He also denied reports that he cheated on her.

Katherine Heigl has sued Duane Reade Inc., saying the company is using a picture of her leaving one of its pharmacies in its promotional materials. Heigl is seeking at least $6 million in damages. The lawsuit said Heigl was recently photographed in New York City as she left a Duane Reade pharmacy. It said the company is exploiting the actress’ image for commercial gain despite her objection. The complaint said Heigl plans to donate any lawsuit proceeds to a charitable foundation that helps animals. She needs to do a good movie.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin had their “break-up-moon” in the Bahamas and Paltrow calls the split an “inevitable circumstance,” versus a marriage that failed. Annoying! Sources told the Daily Star that the couple went there to meet a Kabbalah rabbi who led the spiritual ceremony marking their breakup on the beach. Word is they recited: “Blessed are you in coming in and blessed are you in going out.” Then they kissed farewell. These 2 need to stop.
It looks like Jessica Simpson may be getting prenup nip-tucks. 2 separate doctors who aren’t treating Jessica told Life & Style that Simpson looks like she has been having cosmetic procedures done before her wedding to Eric Johnson. One physician said “Jessica’s eyes seem lifted and bigger” suggesting she may have had Botox or an ultrasound brow lift. Her skin “has probably benefited from mild laser treatments or blue-light therapy to eliminate visible blood vessels.” Another believes she had an “upper eyelid blepharoplasty to make her eyes more visible but criticized her alleged lip fillers, saying they’ve created “an unnatural look.”
Speaking of Simpsons, FXX says it’s planning a marathon of all 552 episodes of The Simpsons and will air them consecutively this summer. The marathon will start on August 21st and continue on into Labor Day, September 1st.
It was revealed last summer that Timecop is heading back to the big screen. The film won't hit theaters for a couple of years, but step one in the process -- hiring writers -- has been taken care of. Timecop was adapted for the big screen in 1994 with Jean-Claude Van Damme in the lead.
