The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards nominees have been announced!

Syfy has announced that Ian Ziering/Tara Rei social media hit Sharknado will be getting a sequel which will be set in New York City. The network released a statement said “Every once in a while there is a perfect storm on television. The fans are clamoring for a sequel or perhaps a prequel. What we can guarantee is that Sharknado 2 will be lots of fun.” No word yet if Ziering or Reid will be in the 2nd but both actors expressed interest in being in the follow-up.

“Glee” is moving full steam ahead without Cory Monteith. The show’s writers had an emergency meeting yesterday to write him out of the story and “Glee” is definitely not canceled.  No word yet as to how they will write him out of the script. Meanwhile, Monteith’s body was cremated yesterday in Vancouver, but his father, Joe, who split from his mother more than 20 years ago, was not in attendance. He told TMZ he was packed and ready to go, but was not invited. Sad news.

Charlie Sheen is now officially a grandfather. His 28-year-old daughter Cassandra Estevez just gave birth to a baby girl named Luna. Charlie told TMZ, "It's impossibly a most wondrous day. My bucket list is a thimble!" Alright there!

Tina Turner has finally married long-time partner - Erwin Bach. Turner tied the knot with the German producer in a civil ceremony in Switzerland. The pair have been together for the past 27 years and they've lived together for more than 15. They plan to have a Buddhist celebration at their home on the banks of Lake Zurich on Sunday.

Jason Biggs and his wife, Jenny Mollen are expecting their first child together sometime in the winter. Biggs revealed the news on Chelsea Handler last night. While sharing a snapshot of his wife, the host remarked, “Her breasts look really engorged,” to which Biggs responded, “Would you like to know why? ‘Cause I put a baby in her belly.” The two met on the set of “My Best Friend’s Girl” and tied the knot in 2008.
