Central Park, often the home to romantic gestures, became the location of a flash mob marriage proposal recently. The gay marriage proposal has since gone viral after being posted on Facebook.

Carl Marucci asked his mother to bring his partner Drew Marsenison to Bethesda Fountain in Central Park. Once there, a flash mob broke out to Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years." It was at the conclusion of the flash mob that Carl asked Drew to marry him.

The romantic video made the rounds on Facebook, and according to Pedestrian TV, the Facebook post had nearly 3,500 "Likes" and over 4,500 shares as of Tuesday. You can watch the romantic marriage proposal below.
